With Flu Season coming quickly and COVID-19 making another hard hit to our community it is important to do our part in making sure that ourselves, families and people around us are staying healthy. SERVPRO of St. Mary's County and SERVPRO of Calvert County care deeply about our community and are here to help in any way we can. There are many precautions we can all take to slow the transmission of these diseases and it is important to pay close attention to them when at work or in other public settings.
During the work day, it is possible that you come in to contact with many objects, surfaces and people that are caring various germs. It is vital that you avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth and that you are washing your hands often. Some examples when you should definitely be washing your hands are before you eat, after using the toilet, after sneezing, coughing or blowing your nose and after moving room to room. While washing your hands make sure you are using a combination of water and soap, scrubbing all areas for at least twenty seconds and using a towel to dry off. If possible it is always best to elbow the faucet shut.
If someone in your office comes down with an illness, know that we have the proper PPE and disinfects to help sanitize and clean the area. Help stop the spread and give us a call for all your cleaning needs!
